#PlayerWPA501 PPRCricket MPR
WPA (WallFire Player Average) is calculated as:
WPA = (Cricket MPR × 10) + 501 PPR
WPA — WallFire Player Average — is WallFire's composite ranking score. The same formula is used under different names across many leagues and tournament systems to produce a single number that reflects performance in both cricket and 501. By weighting Cricket MPR by a factor of 10, WPA places cricket and 501 scores on a comparable scale — a player with a 3.00 Cricket MPR and a 20.00 501 PPR would have a WPA of 50.00.
To appear in the Steel Tip Rankings, a player must have all of the following on their WallFire profile:
- • A verified cricket average (MPR) from DartConnect competition card
- • A verified 501 average (PPR) from DartConnect competition card
- • A real first and last name
- • A profile photo
Both cricket and 501 statistics must come from verified DartConnect cards. Self-declared averages do not qualify.
